I reported on developments in Japan since the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities at a plenary session of the UN General Assembly in 2006, as well as on the formulation of guidelines in the areas of projects under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and responses within schools, and answered questions from the other speakers and attendees.
